Like the weathering job, but why didn't the rest of the pieces get weathered with it? Looks kind of outta place with very nice shinies and then weathered "main bodies/extensions"
why not run the LED from the switch to the accent LED pad?
I believe this one would be better for an Obi-Wan feel:

Just a reminder, the choke piece that you connects with the ribbed section, has a wider OD than the ID of the shroud material. You may want to ask Tim to lathe down that piece, if you want it to sit...
welcome to the forums!
if it is for a simple stunt saber, then you will choose either resistor or buckpuck.
Do not forget about:
MPS inserts and a C clip to hold the insert into the pommel. Also, you will want to get a buckpuck or a resistor of some sort for your LED.
cannot wait to see this one!!!
And here I was hoping that v2 and a lot more additions were gonna be there.. :)
welcome to the forums!
Was waiting for this response, SS! You forgot the +10 to dremel-fu!
lookin good SS! Definitely looks like something a Deere fan would totally enjoy
Have you looked into capacitive touch sensors? I've thought about doing a saber using one.
under the shroud i have tuscan matte black under it.
GusMan8,
Here's a saber I did where the BH, Choke, and Pommel are Brilliant Brass PCed.

D20's on the wall!!!!! Oh, and nice saber! :D
Nice, simple design. Haven't used the trim rings yet, but definitely gives a nice look. Can't wait to see it all finished!
good to see they upgraded the way they mount their LEDs now, and not looking like this:

If you can't tell thats hot-glue...
nice design. only thing i would've had done different was to have the switch holes and BH holder screws all lined up. otherewise good lookin' staff.
likin' it, Tim!
Thank you all so very much! Again, cannot thank SS enough for making my shroud vision a reality.
This looks beautiful! Looks like a dream to wield too!
Thank you all so much for the kind words. She truly is a dream to wield!
