My very first MHS saber that is.
First off, I have to admit that I didn't build it myself , but it will serve as an excellent introduction for me in to the complex world of saber building (my next one will be home built though). Right, details...
It's made entirely of MHS parts, a red Luxeon III, 4 x AAA battery pack, and uses a Vader FX board. It was built by those very helpful people at JQ Lightsabers (a UK retailer!) and only took about 2 weeks from inception to delivery. Top service .
I think I'll call it "The Initiator". Partly because it's my first saber, and partly because I imagine the one who wields this to be something of a troublemaker .
The Initiator alongside my Luke ANH MasterFX saber (yes, I broke the clamp off
) and my UltraSabers converted Joe Jedi.
Easily converted by removing the empty grip extension piece (trust me, within an hour of it arriving I had gone through every possible permutation of parts
).
A quick blade comparison. This photo was taken in a daylight-lit room, with no flash. The Lux III dominates the other two blades. I think I'll have to get my Luke ANH converted...
So just to finish off, I have to say thanks again to Daren at JQ Lightsabers for his assistance and for building the saber. It'll probably be the first of many
.
