New here
Good afternoon,
I’m new to the forum, but not really to replica prop lightsabers. I built my first Vader saber using a 3-cell heiland in the late 90’s. Even though it was not an MPP flash, I had to convince the dealer I wasn’t doing it for Star Wars. So I learned as much as I could about vintage photography. I remember trying to build a working saber using the tech of the time, plasma tubes. LED would never have occurred to me back then.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
