Surely SOMEbody has a CF to give to this awesome saber. An MR board would certainly not do this one justice.
Well done, Sloth

Thanks Matt, what's going to drive me insane is having this not turn out how I see it in my head.
Me too! The radiator fins need a little work on the inside still, and perhaps some good weathering and polish, but I think it's turning out well so far.
I do hope to snag a CF V5 for this build. I suppose I will fall in with the rest of the mob hoping to catch one.
Awesome, awesome.... and more awesome.

From Wikipedia: "Internet Explorer slows down GIFs if the framerate is 20 frames per second or higher and Microsoft reports that Google Chrome and Safari also slow down some GIF animations."
That is sooooo Awesome!!! Quick question. What did you use to take out the star screws holding the platters on, or did you just drill them out?

I believe that the 6-point star screws are called "Torx" or something
I have a set of them but none that small. I am drilling them out now. hehe

Wow!
With the possibility of building a chassis very soon this is SOOOO inspiring.
I wish I had a bin full of spare parts like that!
Wow that's cool! Awesome work!!
Are those balls from the ends of bass guitar strings separating the radiator fins?
