Holy crap, that's awesome! May I yank that?
Sure, you may use it.

can't really decide between the three yet. For the midpiece, I'm having it powder coated in the gold color between the indents. Depending on what emitter/blade holder I decide to go with possibly the same PCing on that too.
I like #1 the best, followed by #3.
If you go with blade holder in #2, you need to move your blade retention screw up higher, it won't do any good at all being that far down. Blade retentions screws hold the blade in by causing friction from pressing the blade against the opposite wall of the blade socket.
In order to see the Light,
you must sometimes risk the Dark.

I like 3 the best, or 1. You should uncheck the "thread hints" in the builder. It looks better. Any other plans? A simple overlay would look nice.
Ah okay, At first I wasn't quite sure about the retention screw. I was aware that it simply presses against the polycarb blade to hold it in place but for some reason it baffles me that ll it takes is a little pressure to hold a blade thats going to be used in heavy dueling in place
I'm going for an old republic sith look, refined, simple. I actually want to do an overlay but I have to look into them more. If I were to do an overlay it would most likely be a jagged design made of copper as I love the slightly patina'd look. The design would be something that would wrap around the midsection of the hilt like its engulfing it, somewhat like getting poured onto it. I'll try to do a render of what I have in mind with photoshop.
