    Hi

I would assume you have not taken your time reviewing all the helpful posts in this forum - I highly recommend you do that before you mistakenly ruin your new setup or parts.

Here is one bit of info that can help:

Try to make a full plan before dismantling your sabers.

Don't worry about the switch. Using one of the latching switches here at the store will be better for an MHS hilt anyway. You'll just connect it to the same wires.

It might be tricky to use the MR battery pack, so you might consider using a 4AAA pack and speaker from here at the shop.

Look at these conversion threads, from the "MR and Hasbro to luxeon 3w conversions" section of the forum, to learn how to connect an LED to the FX sound board.

I take needle nose pliers, and instead of squeezing them closed, i pull them open, which pops the plastic around the sound card off.

ok igot the sound bord out but now the screws are striped(the screwws that hold the prongs the batery connects to). dummy that i am i try to super glue them and it gets every were! so i take it apart and the springs on the progs are glued so i get em off with a screw driver and i pulled to hard and over extended the spring. so now i have to fid a new screw and all or just find a tutorial to soulder a 4AAA battery pack to it.. so ya im kinda frustrated but hey thats life. Being so great, the owner of these wonderful forums and attached shop has filmed how to build an MHS hilt, here's the link:

    More slowly and coherently, please.

Again. Thats ok. As long as you didn't damage the board itself. You don't really need the plastic housing or the stock FX battery pack. You can solder the 4AAA pack to the positive and negative battery pack wires on the board. Check this thread again http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...ead.php?t=1023
Notice how the wires are labeled. Your board might look a little different, but I assure you, those wires are there. I am thinking you may have bit off more that you can chew. I would honesty stop touching the FX until you know exactly what to do. Take your time, and make your plan.
