That chamber is awesome DC. Lots of intricate work. In a former life, I was a model builder, and I think that is why I enjoy this so much. Its like model-building for adults, and the models work. Lots of art work and interpretation in it too. Its a crazy addictive hobby this is. Your sabers are always top notch in the craftsmanship!

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

DC, I really, really like the bent threaded rod that you had in that chamber. Really an asymmetrical, simple, and unique idea. The asymmetry alone is its own greeblie. I hope you decide to work that into your design with either the threaded rod or the enameled wire you were thinking about using.
That looks great, DC! Questions: I hadn't considered attaching a chassis as far up as you've attached it. Is yours connected to the blade holder? Is there an extension under the shroud there? That it's attached between? Did you use a chassis disc to wedge it between two sections, or is it using the chassis disc that threads in to a female section?
