    Default Need help with CF v8 and Luxeon Rebel V

    Hello all,
    I have a problem with a saber build. I hope this is an easy fix. I have read through the user manual, but I can’t seem to find the correct setting. I am using a CF v8 board. I downloaded the default CF v8 font package, and loaded it onto the memory card. The saber powers up fine. The sound works. But the LED only activates when I bump the saber. It won’t stay on when the saber is motionless. I just have a single LED (Luxeon Rebel V) not a fancy tri-LED. So it appears the settings are treating the main and only LED as a flash on clash instead. I talked with a few friends, and read the manual again. I noticed the left digits in the settings are for channel 4, while the right digits are channel 1. I figured since I was running only a single LED, maybe I should be using channel 1. So I changed the config file in each of the 12 sound font folders as follows:

    led=0,0,0,700
    fled=0,0,0,0
    lled=0,0,0,0

    But the result was the same. I have sound, but LED only activates when it senses an impact. So I’m out of ideas. Can anyone tell me which text file I need to edit, and the recommended settings for a Rebel V?

    Thank you

    Check the override files and change the setting there (that is most likely causing your issue).

    Also, the statement you made about the leftmost value being for channel #4 is incorrect. The LED values are Channel 1(main),2,3,4 - in that order.

    "Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

    Thanks for the reply. I was reading about the FOC in the manual. But it sounds like I confused that with the main LED. Anyway, I restored the original settings (I just deleted and replaced all the files on the card). So here is the default set-up on the override file. Do any of these parameters look incorrect?

    If you have the LED hooked up to the main pads (Channel 1), erase all of the color profiles in the override file.
