There is no good purple LED that I know of. People mix Red and Royal Blue to make purple.

You can wire a royal blue led and a red led as the main blade color. You will need to play with the resistor values to get the color you want. For mine I was at .5 blue and somewhere around 3 for the red, but it is all subjective to the shade of purple you want and the actual set up of the saber and LED color specs.Originally Posted by emperor Vader
You wouldn't want an actual purple LED. They aren't very bright to the human eye as the wavelength is too long. You'll want to mix blue and red. There's a good video on the TCSS YouTube channel about that.
