Thread: Sound board dilemma

    Default Sound board dilemma

I am not sure what to do for a sound card.

I was waiting for a Pico Crumble, but for a few different reasons have decided to go with a Prizm instead. However, I just read of post by Plector and it doesn't sound like he is going to be manufacturing anything new until end of the march/April. Does he also supply direct to TCSS? Because if he does, it may be until May before we see any new Prizm boards on TCSS.

Just curious what past stock scenarios look like ( this is my first build )...

    Thanks in advance!

He doesn't supply TCSS directly. Prizms will be coming, in a few weeks but not in large quantities initially.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

Erv doesn't manufacture the boards for TCSS. Those are made in the U.S., but I'm not sure on the time frame for the PRIZM V4.

    EDIT: FJK is fast :P

    Well, poop.

My initial idea was a multi-color blade, but maybe I should reduce my ambitions for my very first build and just go with a NB. Too many decisions.

Or just be patient and wait to build something you really want to, instead of something you settled for. What is an extra month in the long run. Use the extra time to really plan the build and such.

    Absolutely perfect point, FenixFire. Thanks!
