    Default NB sound issues

I am having some sound issues with my NB v2. I accidentally connected the battery with it's +/- leads reversed and now I am getting a lot of static from the speaker when I turn it on. The sound seems to crackle a lot. I don't think it's the speaker because when I connected another speaker I still hear the static. Everything else seems to be working fine, just hearing static. Did I fry the amp? Is there anyway for me to fix it?

    Welcome to the Forums.

Yes, you fried the amp. No, you can't fix it yourself. You would ned to get in touch with Zook, who handles board repairs here in the U.S.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

Not sure I have enough posts to PM him. Any other way to contact him?
