Color Change Build

I have built just one saber before and want to build a new saber. I want to be able to change the colors pretty much on the fly and am not particular about sound effects other than just the basics. I am aiming to do something similar to http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...th-FOC-and-PCL but a little simpler and with only a tri color LED. Can anyone provide me with what electronics would work best and maybe a wiring diagram? My electronic list so far is the led, a rotary switch, the fx or master replicas soundboard/driver, power switch, speaker, and batteries. What do you guys think?

You can skip the rotary switch and the econo sound card and use a Prizm sound card, when they come back in stock. That would allow you to swap between up to 10 preset colors.
