Default PC 2.0 FOC w/Tri Cree

I've currently got a PC 2.0 at 7.4V running an LedEngin RGBA with R&B in series for main and G&A in series for FOC. Thinking of getting a Tri-Cree BBW as a quick swap for this, but wondering if I'm going to have to use one of the fat white 5W resistors with just the one die for FOC and roughly half the forward voltage (than the G&A in series on the LedEngin). Not a lot of room in the ribbed choke extension part where this would be (in the top neck of it, not the main base part), and it would be nice if I could get by with one of the smaller diameter resistors here (in addition to the smaller one that's already on the PEX.

Yes, you would likely need a 5W resistor for the White.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

Thanks, won't be doing that then. Saved me some time and $$$.

Wait, holdup... still might work with the new style flat heatsink. That's going to save over a half inch in the neck.
