I will post that pic tomorrow sgcdialler. That white wire is the switch led, i guess i could move it to main positive?
There are no accent led's or other blinkies on the saber, so put it to board +?

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

Good call FJK, i only want it on while the saber is on.
Could i just run it to the Cex positive, since it's connected to the board positive anyway?
Otherwise I'd have to splice it longer.
Edit : it has a dynaohm on it
There is also a 3.3V pad on the CEX that you could use.

And this one is not an accent pad, it will act like a normal board +?
I need to find a better Cex diagram
Page 37 in the manual may be of interest
Derp, you're talking about the CEX. Ignore me hahaha

Out of curiosity, has the positive power lead from the battery to the CF or CEx been connected at any time while you've been soldering on each board, respectively?
The positive is the last to be soldered for me, no sd card in and kill key in
