Default "Creed, Sword of Harmony" COMPLETE!

Hey guys! My newest build is complete, and boy was she a project!

"Creed" is the product of over five months of planning and design. Big thanks to Tim for collaborating with me on the body, it is comprised of 100% custom machined MHS parts. She was imagined as the saber of an Elite Jedi, a Juggernaut of the old republic. Elegant but formidable. I think we really pulled off exactly what I was looking for. There is some obvious inspiration, and I have to thank Madcow specifically for being the visionary he is. I took a lot of styling cues from things he has done, and found myself asking "WWMCD?". Also where I got the idea for the SMD LED PLI. Hats off to him for doing it often, soldering 0603 LEDs onto the board is HARD!!! Almost washed my own mouth out with soap.

She is a long hilt, right at 15"!

    Specs:
    Tri cree XP-E2 RGrB
    7.4v 3400mah 18650 pack
    Crystal focus 7.5 with CEx
    2x 12mm AV switches
    Railmaster 28mm speaker
Custom 3D printed Crystal chamber (METAL!!) and chassis from Darth Ryo
4x 0603 UV purple LEDs for PLI
    5mm RGB led for CC

Note: Be cautious with dropping your saber when using a printed chassis. I did this and chipped the edges of the CEx wire spools, which didn't cause a functional issue, but is best not to do, LOL. The way the CEx sits in the chassis brings the spools very close to the inside of the hilt. Just a warning.

    Misc:
Saber bag with english translation of the old Jedi Code, via Defcon4, Tim did the engraving on the hilt in Aurebesh which looks INCREDIBLE. The blade is a custom 7/8th with adapter from Obi-Shane. Light weathering done by taking a fine grit steel wool pad to the media blasted parts, I highly recommend this, it turned out INCREDIBLE! I sent a piece back to tim for a screw hole service and he personally complimented the texture and finish!

    WITHOUT FURTHER AHHH DOOO!

Wow. Just wow. That's a lovely saber you've got there. Excellent work!
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
