Is it possible to use FOC with only a single LED?

For the time being, I just want to put lights in my saber and use a single rebel led. If later on, I wanted to use a NB for sound, is there a way to wire it to have some sort of an effect on the led?

No. For FoC you would need a multi-LED solution.
