Samurai7 and Anakin AOTC-inspired padawan sabers

Howdy Saberfans,

I have a colleague who has two young sons - ages 6 and 4. The older of the two is more into SW than the younger but they both have constructed their own lightsabers (out of customized cardboard tubes) and have even started to make videos of themselves dueling with one another.

Well.... I couldn't really just let that stand, so I present to you a pair of customized sabers for these two padawans...

First up is one I am calling the Samuari7 - for the younger sibling:

MHSv2 hilt with custom knurling, pommel insert piece, and textured black powder coating
PC 3.0 soundboard with single cell hack
RGB Tri-Cree
inner (scrap blade material) polycarbonate chassis
RGB 5mm crystal pommel LED

It's sort of unreal how alive and comfortable this saber feels in the hand...possibly one of my favorite dueling form factors to date.

The older sibling gets this following saber - his favorite character is Anakin / Vader, so I made him an AOTC themed MHSv2 based saber:

customized MHSv2 (and v1 parts) with custom flat black and textured black powder coating
PRIZM soundboard
RGB tri-Cree
5mm red and green accent LEDs
(R)GB 5mm crystal pommel accent LED
customized recharge port in the covertec knob

and finally the two side by side:

I really like these! And I love what you did with the blade holder on the Samurai7. Very nice indeed.

I love that holder to begin with, and the slots are just nice when all lit up. Very nice sabers.

Awesome work on these Cannibal! It's amazing to see how much you were able to pack into these mostly MHS V2 hilts as well.

Great looking sabers as always Cannibal. I made a couple of v2 sabers with that choke body combo and you are right it feels awesom e in the hand. Feels very agile, quick and manueverable for sure.

Awesome work! Really like the cut outs in the Samurai 7 emitter and I'm super jealous of your super clean wiring, Hope my wiring looks that good eventually.
