Default New to site and sabers

Hello all, new to the site but not forums in general. I have a 5 year old that I have introduced to Starwars and of course he is head over heals. He's asked for a saber so I on a whim tried some PVC on my wood lathe and love the results so being the project junkie I am I really want to make him some nice sabers for him and his friends and who am I kidding who hasn't wanted a lightsaber all their life. I want to keep it realistic price wise and have picked up a few toy sabers with sound to gut the cards, really would like to use one of the $65 cards in the store but out of stock unfortunately so I'll work with what I got for now.

Welcome to the forums! The Nano Biscottes rarely stay out of stock for long.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Thanks, I was hoping that would be the case with the biscotte it seems real quality for the price judging from a members great videos I found on Youtube. I believe Madcow made them. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try to scavenge one of the toy ones as well, good practice and all.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
