    Update as of April 2018:
    It's been a while since I was on but I thought I'd add a few more pics of the saber after some additional work on it - mainly painting. I'm still doing some modification to it now so I'll have some more pics to follow in the next few months.

    That's really amazing work! What did you use for the wood effect on the hilt? This bad mamba Jamba is a piece of art!

    Thank you for your compliments. I have a You Tube channel where I will post a video showing some pics of the saber as it progressed, but to briefly answer your question, the hilt has been made using polymer clay (Super Sculpey Firm), sculpted around an aluminium tube and then baked hard.
