Default Cree XP-E2... Brightness of Blue Vs Green Vs RGB

Hello and happy Revenge of the Fifth.

My question is simple, with the new Tri-Crees, which is brighter when wired parallel, GGW or BBW? Planning to run it as high as they can take with crystal focus. Will use Pex for FOC most likely. Are these Crees a big difference over the Rebels? I have a single die deep red rebel running 700ma on my first saber.

Also, anyone have experience with the Cree RGB and Cex for color mixing? I tossed around the idea of having a color mixing saber, but figured that a dedicated blue or green with Tri-Cree would be brighter when wired parallel. You may be able to convince me otherwise.

    Thanks and happy sabering!

Greens will always appear brighter to your eyes. Whether to have a dedicated color or color mixing is completely up to you. 2 of a color are generally better than 1, but then again, you can't color mix much with a GGW or a BBW.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
