Thread: My first homemade Lightsaber!

    Default My first homemade Lightsaber!

I just completed my first Lightsaber. I want to build an MHS saber with a proper blade, but fornow I'm saving my pennies and needed to build one on the cheap. This is a no-frills plumbing parts saber. I used the Anakin/Darth color changing toy saber for the blade and electronics, added to that a few bits of plumbing from the hardware store, a button from Radio Shack and rubber grips from here, and there it is. I'm pretty proud of how it came out.

Here's a link to a gallery that documents it's construction:

I made an instructable for my plumbing saber. It seems like a good gateway activity to making proper sabers.
