Thread: First real attempt at shroud making

    The finished product.

    I used etching primer, then enamel spray paint, then satin clear coat.

    The wiring job is also a first for me. It is a stunt saber that might eventually get a sound upgrade but I was proud of myself that I made a yellow blade. It is made with a Tri Rebel RGB and a 700mA buckpuck. Knowing little about electronics but what I have read here and being self taught in soldering, this is another big step for me.

    In honor of the Jedi this saber is inspired by, I call it The Sage.

    Very nice! Really like the color contrast of the shroud and how it lends to the overall look of the saber. Great job!
