Thumbs up Organophaos Titanium lightsaber now with PhotonBlades

EDIT: september 2015 the hilt got the CF7, I'm now in the process to test different blades (whites, clear, photon blades)
details in my last post in this thread.
    Thanks for reading.

    Hello Ladies and Gentlemen
this is a post I already made on FX saber first but it was very important to me to post it here since the sabers of this topics are MHS based.
Please dont ask Tim if he can redo this parts, as a prototype and special project it was all experimental and not in an industrial production purpose yet. If it become possible in the future I'm sure we will be awarned here. All my apologies for my bad English as it is not my natural language. Thanks for your understanding.

I would like to share a work in progress project with you on this year's early month. This is about a common-design double lightsaber, nothing very exciting except it is made of titanium, (grade 5 or Ti-6Al-4v).
Build on TCSS modular hilt system standard (with Tim's agreement Thanks you!!) it is designed to be effective and durable with no too much fancy decoration.

It is named Organophaos which mean if I'm right "tool of light" in ancient Greek. It was an incredible pain to lathe, a nightmare. I have found someone enough talented and crazy to accept the challenge but as it was so difficult to machine he would never do it again therefor he asked me to keep is name private; we will call him Ephaistos (the god blacksmith) since he deserve it.
It was a real honor to work on this with him.

I still need a coupler (wip) and the boxes are aluminium (and will stay that way for now).

One thing I have tried on this project is media blasting: here is three different surfaces:
one blank, out from the lathe, mirrored surface (blade holder's cone)
one sanded (aluminium oxid) matte surface
one beads blasted (glass beads with only one shot per beads) is the satined surface.

It is interesting to see how the light reflect in different ways and give a different look to the saber (lighter or darker) with a changing environment.

There is no covertech knob but titanium screw that will work the same way while softer to hands.

At last, this saber is made to carry the best lightsaber engine ever made, Plecter Labs Crystal Focus and I hope for two CF7 DS.

Sorry for the bad quality pics I'll redo it asap with a real camera.

You can see other pics in my album (before surface treatment for example and beside a Maul Master Replica)

link to my casimage album with more pics, pics before media blasting and size compraraison with a MR DMaul lightsaber -

post scriptum: I have now the two CFV7DS and have begun the wire soldering
for records each enpty handle is 424grs loud.
