14500's are AA size. If you use one with a dummy cell (essentially a blank) you can use a 2AA holder (1 14500, one dummy cell) without a problem.

One last question, Will the 16mm Anti Vandal Short Momentary Green Ring Switch fit in the 4" Double female threaded connector? I read somewhere it was important to make sure the AV switches will actually fit onto your build before buying.

and this may not be what you would like but looking at your design, i think this might suit you a little better than buying the choke and ribbed sections separately. this is a combo extension. you might have just over looked this part.
