    Default Wiring diagram help

Could some one check my wiring diagram please? This is for my stunt saber. I have bad handwriting so if you can't read that I will explain it. I have an 18650 li ion battery with jst connector that is rechargeable link: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Pa...tery-P853.aspx. Then I have it connected to another connector and the negative for the battery pack is going to the right tab on the recharge port. The battery positive wire is going to the middle tab on the recharge port. I don't know what to solder to the left tab or if I can leave it with nothing there. The positive from the recharge port goes to the switch which is a guarded latching switch. The positive from the switch goes to a jst connector and the negative from the recharge port goes to the jst connector too. My rebel star led and mhs heatsink module that is cyan plugs into the jst connector. I don't think I would need a resistor but if that is incorrect please tell me.

It doesn't sound to me like you have the recharge port wired correctly. You may want to consult one of the soundboard manuals to see how to wire one properly.

Would I need a soundboard to have a recharge port?

    No, it's not necessary.

As seen in this post: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...ll=1#post51391

The green wire labeled "Board (-)" is the one that will run to your electronics. A sound board isn't necessary, that's just the negative for powering your saber. The "Battery Pack (-)" is the only negative that should be running to your battery. That will ensure that the recharge port can cut power when a kill key is inserted, and to protect your electronics while recharging.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
