Default My new MHS build with CF6+CeX

I proudly present my latest MHS based custom saber!

For my third MHS project I wanted to incorporate a shroud element into the design. I also wanted to take advantage of the new color mixing capability of the CrystalFocus v6 with the added CeX board while still leaving room for a visible crystal chamber. So it was a bit tricky to incorporate all these elements into the design considering that the hilt is barely over 11'' long, but I think it came out resonably well.

I'd like to thank Tim from TCSS for the great work he did on the hilt and also Erv for the help in sorting out some technical problems I had with the soundboard.

    Specs:

    - Crystal Focus v6.10 + CeX
    - Tri-rebel RGrB LED
    - 2W speaker
    - 7.4V 1400mAh li-ion battery pack
    - Visible crystal chamber
    - Real quartz crystal illuminated by a 5mm RGB LED wired to match blade color
    - Illuminated red ring AV switch
    - R.I.C.E. port
    - 7 segment blue bargraph

    Fonts:
    (all purchased at www.saberfont.com)

    - Fates, Bespin II, Vader, Korriban by Madcow
    - Form II - Makashi by Lord Blako
    - Resblade by Novastar

Trying to pick my jaw from the floor here... Fell in love with the saber at first sight. Every single detail (the gold/silver emitter, the knurled rear grip, the switch box/shroud over the forward grip) adds nicely to make a hilt that looks gorgeous to me. Really excellent work there, congratulations.

Looks like something I'd make.. but with more diamond knurling. Looks great overall. I love your choice in soundfonts most of all, to be honest.

    Default Spettacolo!!!!

    Ciao,
s? abito vicino a Torino.
Spero possa esserti utile.

Every so often, a saber gets posted that makes me say, "I want to build one of THOSE for myself!"

This is one of those sabers. Great job!
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
