    You'll want a resistor for your LED. This http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/1o...istor-P21.aspx is good for your LED and battery setup.

    Also, you don't need the extra heatsink. The preassembled heatsink and LED module already includes one. Everything else appears fine.
    We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

    Thank you very much for taking the time to look over the list. I was under the incorrect assumption that the preassembled LED/heatsink had the resistor installed. Glad you corrected that misconception for me.

    They don't, because depending on the battery solution, the resistor value would be different.
