PLI = Accent LED???
I'm in the process of designing one of my lightsabers and thought... Can I wire a PLI (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/PL...ator-P267.aspx) as an accent LED for the Petit Crouton?Just wondering if it's possible because the forward Accent LED pad is 3.3v but the lowest resistor for the PLI is 4.8v

The PLI is a power level indicator (to keep track of your battery power level), not really an accent LED.Originally Posted by JediEngineer

No. It is a completely separate part that hooks directly to battery voltage.
I did this once on a CF. You just have to use a power extender. also you need to play with the on and off time values in the config to get a good scrolling effect.
