Thread: PLI = Accent LED???

    Default PLI = Accent LED???

I'm in the process of designing one of my lightsabers and thought... Can I wire a PLI (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/PL...ator-P267.aspx) as an accent LED for the Petit Crouton? Just wondering if it's possible because the forward Accent LED pad is 3.3v but the lowest resistor for the PLI is 4.8v

The PLI is a power level indicator (to keep track of your battery power level), not really an accent LED.

No. It is a completely separate part that hooks directly to battery voltage.

I did this once on a CF. You just have to use a power extender. also you need to play with the on and off time values in the config to get a good scrolling effect.
