Thread: Chrome Accent led?

    Default Chrome Accent led?

Anyone use the chrome led indicators? Anyone who has how did you attach them? did you drill and tap to use the threads? What sizes would you use?

They seem like they would be really neat so I ordered some. any advice that you have would be great! Thanks!

Indeed. They're the ones listed as "T1 LED Indicators"
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

I have used similar ones. And I think you'll find it's easier to just drill a through hole and use the nut to attach it your hilt. This will allow you keep the wires from twisting on you when you're installing it directly to the hilt. If you're planning on using an activation box with this LED then using the threads is fine as you can install it first and then wire it up.
There's a difference between knowing the path.....and walking the path.

I just drilled hole and used the nut on the inside for mine. They were mounted in a 2" double female section though which was easy to get at the nut with either needle nose pliers or even a small wrench to tighten. Depending on how far down a hilt they are positioned, this could become difficult to tighten down in a hurry.
