    Default BOLIDE for Siborn91

A few months ago, I was contacted by LDM to see if I could help a member at FX with a build he was trying to commission. At first I wasn't quite sure if I had the time to help him out, but after some discussion, I decided to help him make his dream saber come to reality.

The saber was originally depicted here:

    http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=35075.0

and it's design is heavily influenced by Vaders Vault's Azrael as seen in this thread:
    http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...ghlight=azrael

The final design was also much aided by additional renders courtesy of Sollus Vir.

With that, I am proud to present:
    BOLIDE
(which apparently means "fireball" in Italian)

    SPECS:
PC1.6 with Korriban (2.0 got released literally the week after I ordered the 1.6 for this build)
10W RGBA with purple blade and white FoC
    MadCow type PVC chassis sled
2 x 14500 Li-Ion Battery stick pack with appropriate recharge PCB
3mm blue and cyan accent LEDs
    Deep Red AV Ring switch
exposed crystal chamber with purple dyed clear quartz
Custom lathed grip/crystal chamber combo piece, PC in trans red.
    hand dremeled sink tube shroud
    white O-ring grips

From Wikipedia: "Internet Explorer slows down GIFs if the framerate is 20 frames per second or higher and Microsoft reports that Google Chrome and Safari also slow down some GIF animations."

Absolutely gorgeous! I definitely see the VV influence in it. Beautiful job!
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Amazing work cannibal!. I love your crystal chamber. I would really love to figure out how you guys do that. Cuz I'd really like to include one in my next design. Maybe I could chew your ear sometime?!? Just something else to aspire to. Anyways great job!!!
