    Default Kaiozero's Vaderesque PC-U Build

    G'day guys.

Just wanted to post another finished saber project which drew inspiration from the Darth Vader style hence the dodgey name I wanted it to have a similar shape and makeup with a lot of 'modern' thrown in. I also wanted to try out the chassis system for securing the internal components, which turned out nice and snug.

    Original builder plan:

Made up of the following MHS parts:

    Features:
    • PC-U 1.5 with Novastar's Ep V Re-Mastered from Compilation CD2
    • 2x Li-Ion battery solution for 7.4volts and in hilt recharge.
    • Red dot AV switch and recharge port housed in TCSS activation box style 9.
    • Small black momentary switch at bottom of activation box style 7.
    • Red accent LEDs on side of activation box style 7.
    • Deep Red Rebel primary LED with quick disconnect illuminating standard style blade with polyp wrap.
    • Wet black powdercoating.

    Finished product pics:

Very comfortable to hold in multiple positions, and my hand fits over the control box easily without accidentally hitting the AV switch, and the Aux switch is easily accessible with the bottom hand thumb. I realy love the soundfont I chose for this i think it fits nicely. The deep red rebel LED looks great in person but the camera doesn't like picking it up correctly.

Thanks for looking guys, cya soon.

    MTFBWY.

From Wikipedia: "Internet Explorer slows down GIFs if the framerate is 20 frames per second or higher and Microsoft reports that Google Chrome and Safari also slow down some GIF animations."

If it's not too much hassle, I'd love to see how the PC board fits inside those chassis disks.
