thanks guys for all the input, it seems as though the consesus is experiment on board placement and parameter settings and last ditch move the clash sensor. thanks crystal chambers
Just remember that moving the clash sensor voids the board's warranty, so do it at your own risk. As long as you have the board secured nicely in the hilt you can have good detection.

Does it need to be solid mounted to the hilt?
I have mine held in place by the white padding from premium speaker boxes, the card doesn't wobble around but it doesn't touch the housing at all. I'm still adjusting it but i have "i" on 70 and HS on 38 and i'm not getting many swing sounds. Its in an anakin ROTS mounted in the middle.
For the best motion detection, yes, it needs to be solid mounted.
