    Default Protosaber

I've wanted to do one of these ever since I read the Tales of The Jedi comics. It's not a straight reproduction (the sabers looked different from panel to panel) but has the major design features of the time period: Hand guard, power cable, belt power pack. The details and the weathering are my own interpretation.

No sound, but may get an upgrade in the future.

Nice build. The power pack looks sweet, just think if you did throw sound and had your speaker in there. So ya the sound would be coming from your waist and not the saber but the speaker could be loud enough no one would notice.

    very nice build. ^_^

as for sound in the pack, you would still need to wire the sensors into the hilt, so that would be a lot of extra wires to run...

Yes definitely long, but should be really easy to run.

From Wikipedia: "Internet Explorer slows down GIFs if the framerate is 20 frames per second or higher and Microsoft reports that Google Chrome and Safari also slow down some GIF animations."
