    Default Problem with the Lens and holder

    I just ordered all of my parts for my first saber, using the helpful newb tutorial. I began assembling my parts today and I was wondering if the lens should snap into my lens holder? because currently the holes to not match up and it will not snap down.

    On the lens, along the edge, is a is a wedge cut and and a square cut. The wedge cut fits fine but the square cut on the other side is too wide for the opening in the lens holder.

    Maybe sand it a bit? Or even cut it off?

    Is that a 5 degree lens? They don't really fit well with the lens holders, but when you have your MHS screwed down it will stay put fine.

    you can cut the tabs off if you want to, but the BH will indeed keep it in place.
