That looks like my pep file! I go by the handle "Sylgian" on most other forums. Glad to see people using the files.

Well here is the inside of my scratch built Sith Stalker helm. My normal glasses wont fit. This solution involves an old pair of glasses, magnets for mounting, and a small fan driven by a 9v battery....
My parts came in!! I was really excited so wasted no time getting them assembled. I love the activation box. It really gives it more of a finsihed look. It looks way less flashlight tube-ish, and...
Sooooooo, I decided to add some accent LED's as well. Hopefully I can fit them on the side of the new box. I got them wired up while I wait for my activation box to arrive.
...
Here's what I'm thinking for the activation box

I thought I'd revisit this saber. As of late I have been nerding out over the upcoming SWTOR, as I am sure many of you are. All the Star Wars on the brain made me fiend for some lightsaber fun. So......
I personally would go for sound right off the bat. It is SO much cooler swinging a saber around with sound vs. without.
My first saber had so sound. It felt like swinging around a large glow...
The MR Vader board was 3/8" tall, and it was nearly that tall all the way to the edges.
I am planning on switching to a (2)AA Li-ion battery pack and working on a chassis system. Now that it is...
Thanks so much everyone. I have not had a chance to take any nice photo's of it all lit up yet so I took this from my cell. I had a shot of it when I first had the parts delivered to my office, so it...
Well, bad news. I can definitively say that the Vader board does not fit comfortably on top of a AA batter holder and into the MHS.
I did manage to get it to fit, and I was even left with...
Dremel-fu, haha. I love it, thank you all.
I managed not to have it skip out at all. That's a victory in my book. As it happens my sound board came this afternoon! Great timing. That means I have...
This is my second saber and my first MHS saber. Most of my parts came in so I wasted no time and got started. I apologize in advance for my camera.
I started planning this weeks ago. This is the...
Okay, now I know that the inside diameter of a graflex is more that the MHS (just under your normal 1.5" sink tube). But this gives me hope for my battery pack solution. It looks like the MR board...
Thats one handsome saber Jay-gon!
I found a nice set of dimensions for length and width of the board, but the height I am not certain of. Truth will be told once all the parts come in.
In the...
Thanks so much, I would have never thought about the inside diameter of the threaded portion of the pommel getting in the way. I guess that takes care of some of the resonance concern.
Because of...
I agree 100%. I am still hammering out the details of mounting the board. I am leaning towards the sled idea as I have no recharge port and sliding out one assembly to change the batteries seems...
So I am back to build my second saber. I did a sink tube saber a good while back and am ready to take it up a notch with an MHS saber this time.
I prepared this rendering in preparation. Now it...
thanks all :) the trigger gaurd was the last addition i made, as i was spinning the saber and i kept turning it on/off. that was the simplest solution i could come up with, and it has a bit of a...

i would like a pictures only thread. it would be good for searching for inspiration. not having to sroll through all the text would be great when your just looking for ideas.
ive owned both systems i can say i preffer the psp, i traded in my ds for my psp......kind of a smack in the face to nintendo. not intentional, they have some innovative games. psp just seems more...

will do, ill have to try that on mine when i get a chance.
mine has numerous blemishes in it, nothing i would really complain about though. yes they are noticable when the blade is standing still, but overall i think they work great.
yes, the nub on the back isnt all that big, so its never been a big deal for me. as he said i wouldnt want to fall on it. it would be like sitting on your keys, but i cant argue with its strength.
