It's hard to read your diagram but if I am reading it correctly, it is wrong.
Pin #1 on the recharge port should have two wires in parallel...one going to the battery and one to the board +

You cannot run a LEDengin 10W at it's best capacity on an Obsidian. The board cannot take the 7.4V needed to do so.
My advice: Gut the saber, trash the board and buy a Petit Crouton. That can run...
Yes it can. Use a single cell 18650 and you will be fine. Anything over 6V and you will fry it. You can wire in a 5V current regulator and use a 7.4V pack, but really that just adds more work and...
Yeah, they certainly are. A little heavier than some of today's standard duelers, but still a GREAT hilt nonetheless.
Madcow never did an Ep III. soundfont. It is either Novastar's Ep. III Obi/Ani or Anatim's Ep. III.
Good job on the build.
Wow...you sure told me, son.
Where did you see this done at to make you think it can be done? Enlighten us experienced folk, please.
Oh, and snapping at a member who is trying to help you isn't the best way to start out on a...
I like throwback sabers. Throwback sabers are cool. There was a time when MHS Obi’s were the standards in the community, right along with MHS Luke V2’s. They were (and still are) perfect for dueling...

Dumb question: Why are you using a LEDengin for a stunt? From personal experience, I can tell you that a single die Green Rebel will be far brighter than running 2 GG's in //. As for running all 4...
Run a single blue rebel off that MR board and you will be just fine.
Your speaker is blown. Did the outsides of it accidentally touch any metal?
Have you tried changing out the battery? You may have only fried that.
That is awesome man, good to see a well made saber take a BEATING and still keep ticking.
A LOT has changed since 2009. Start reading! :p
Is that a 9V battery?
I have made it a tradition to wear a saber around town on Halloween day. People looked at me, and never batted an eye for the most part, and last year I went into the bank and the teller asked "Is...
You can run 3 accent LED's off the PC AND NB.
On the P.C. you can run two off the accent LED pads and and the 3.3V pad.
On the NB, you can run one off the 3.3 pad and two safely off the main...
Get a Tri-Rebel BBW and mix the Blues with the white.
Done. Artic Blue.
Totally cool to build for sure.
Totally impractical for any type of saber combat application, though.
Here are some Latin names for my personal sabers that I have either wired up, or built. Unless you know Latin, you're gonna have to Google it.

Nice job!
At 3.7V, you don't have to use a resistor for blues, greens and whites. The LED's forward voltage can sustain just fine at that battery's voltage.
I have never used a resistor for those colors and...
I believe that the natural circuit cards have the Obi ROTS design printed on the back...or they used to anyway.
It doesn't matter. The board is still covered by it.
Anyways, I just read thru this and I am glad to see that you got the issue resolved. Your wiring looks a lot cleaner now thanks to Strydur's...
