But... why? We have two forums already D:
Hey..
Been another year since I built the Assassin and coming back to the hobby I was amazed by all the new technology such as RICE and cEX especially and of course if I was to build another saber...
That last one is ingenious
Great paintjob!
Does it have clear coat/lacq or something else to protect it?
Make sure to post progress/WIP pics ;)
Great to have you on board.
Also make sure to remember that you have to get your Li-Ion batteries locally now after the US post decided not to ship them anymore.
Get ready to answer all sorts of questions if you do.
In case anyone wondered (already got asked on FX) where is the "kill switch", it's on the gold screw. Screw that in and the saber gets power through a momentary tactile glued to the LED's heatsink.
Chassis is made from 3D-printed plastic.
Hello all..
I don't know how many of you know or remember me, but I haven't been around much lately, and my interest in the fine art of lightsaber construction has been diminishing. I thought...
Best pics are taken outside/near windows with natural light.
I like the saber but the name seems kind of forced.
With all due respect, I don't think US is browsing these forums, looking for let's face it; 2D-drawings of possibly conceptual bladeholders, so that they could use it themselves.
I do like how the...
Your signature will get you banned.
This is extraordinary.
I hate it when people type it "lite-saber".
Not in this case though, I know why it's that way :P
This is the best MHS Sith saber I've ever seen.
Perfect. Just that.
Saying that a converted saber WILL have a more "even" blade is false.
Even with the best diffusers out there, it will never be as even as an LED ladder. It can be close, but it can't be more even.
That first saber is really clean. I love it.
Be very careful. Using a lot of force WILL damage the threads if there is something between them.
That looks awesome!
Too bad they don't sell US sized sinktubes in Finland :p
Gorgeous design.
What part was the male coupler machined of?
Brilliant. The overlays are just that.
1. Is the metal-colored set screw not blending enough? Because if so, you might want to add a thumscrew to your design, they are easier to use and they look good too.
2. Sound or no sound? If...
Oh yes and the newest CF is 5.1 ;)
For the LEDengin you need a good soldering iron, they're quite difficult to solder on.
Good luck!
I don't think the covertec kill key is actually even meant as means to attach the saber to your belt. Your power jack would have to be so tight it would probably bend and break very quickly.
I...
