I wanted to respond with just one word.. but apparently we need 10 chars.
weak.
indeed! left me wanting for more.
still sounds like a short. unwire the switch entirely and use a pair of tweezers or something to touch the two switch pads together.
then the middle of both blades would sag. You need something for the entire blade (on both sides) to rest on that's rigid..
rewiring the switch is definitely the way to go. As for getting that flashlight to light up a blade well - that could be a bigger challenge.. depends on what you can get to hold the blade and...
hello and welcome
rotate it every couple of days. rotiserize it!
looks like you already did - on the top of the bookshelf. I like the look.
wow.. that site is ancient. Like 5 years ancient. Talking about the Power Mac G5 which was released in January 03 and retired in August 06 in favor of the Intel processors.
No mention of...
sounds like you got the pins on the 2.1mm charging port mixed up. use a multimeter to make sure there is very low impedence between what you believe are the two negative posts and very high...
at least on the green or blue settings you get more variety. I do agree that the hum and swing sounds are pretty good on the sith setting.. too bad we can't reprogram the sounds to give the sith...

my guess is that they were used in an amateur film or something.. but that's only a guess.
some people have complained that 6V fried their 616.. you might want to add a 5v voltage regulator in there for the 616, just to be safe... only costs a couple of bucks and well worth the...
tempting.. even with 2 sitting in the garage waiting to be molested..

there's always the option of heading down to your local mega-lo mart (wal-mart, target, k-mart) and buying a hasbro light saber w/sound.. rip it apart and use the board with the LED driver you saw...
My bet is that it was an arc welder..
So I logged in last night to buy a couple more 2.1PlugAdapter.. unfortunately they're out of stock, but I still managed to spend over $200. It's like making a trip to Home Depot or Sams Club.. I...
and you have the buck puck's ref/ctl lines soldered to the power switch on the 616? Perhaps that's where the capacitor is draining to.
hopefully not! depends on how the move is done, but we should be good.
scum suckers! I loathe capitalist pigs.
Well not really.. I'm a capitalist too, but it pains me to see Erv's brand new boards going up on EBAY knowing that they sold out in such a short time...
