I can't make the 22nd, I'm afraid  it's pre my b-day in the week, so I've made plans already...
Welcome! And I like your design, too.
Let us know if you order the parts and how it goes. good luck and enjoy! ;)
Well, I still need to get the guts installed, It's nearly all wired/soldered, I'm currently tinkering with the speaker setup to try and get some meaty resonance and have sanded down some of the...
That fighter is absolutely mad!! Amaaaaaazing! Made my afternoon!! Thanks for sharing!! I am so excited I just can't help using too many exclamation marks!!! Wow-wee!!!!
Lookin good there - I like the small holes and the white and clean metal work go together well for me.
The large "crystal chamber" cutaway section looks a bit too bright for my taste, but maybe...
Bravo! The crystal chamber looks great, I like how it flickers to match the blade. And it's a nice touch that the switch button comes on when you remove the kill plug - I prefer that to the other way...
I only just spotted these - they look absolutely brilliant! And really inspiring as they're do-able for a lot of folks. I'll certainly be taking a leaf out of your book and attempting something...
Looking really good in the latest pics, can't wait to see it lit!
Cheers, guys! It's looking alright, isn't it? :D
...yeah, but I've done that myself plenty of times when I'm interwebbing in the small hours, so I'm not about to be picky lol...
Love the Leia and the Luminara, way to go with that exquisitely crafted pommel!
Great job on the saber, very majestic and flowing, and the new and improved reccessed button is inspired - definite improvement and good of you to share how you did it. Nice one!
Not yet, but soon. I'm happy with how the weathering looks, so I'm keen to get it finished now.
I've been working on this today, so wanted to share my progress...
BTW - Sithlordfaust - I like your saber, especially the finsh and details on the overlay - how did you get the white finish? And...
Aquaprime - The force sensitive stormtrooper/clone concept saber was a major influence.
I've not had a chance to do much with it yet - I painted in the 2 black bands at the pommel end and the...
I'm liking them, especially the most recent.
...and Titoshi -totally inspired idea about storing the blade inside it!! ;)
We generally save that til after the pub...
Looking interesting, I actually prefer the plainer bottom one of the 2 - have you thought what blade length you'd want to go for with this length of hilt? Personally, I really like the look of longer...
I feel your pain!
It's just one of those things living outside the USA where you have to bite the bullet and cough up - I collected an order from a while ago yesterday (delayed waiting for the...
That's shaping up to be something special - I like the variation with tacked together pieces, the different metals/finishes and the overlay pieces with stuff underneath. I look forward to seeing it...
Cheers, Obi-Ben!
The grips are cannibalised from an old Yoda FX.
I really like this one - the design, the finish, the blade colour - all works for me, and looks very comfy to hold as well. Inspired!
I'm still on for it, wherever - easier at the London end for me, but I'm willing to travel if it's better for most more North-ish.
How about everyone else? Who's still willing and able?
OK! I had a wait for the parts for this to come as I was waiting on the US2.0 I ordered coming back as a 2.1 before it was sent. Neeless to say, I was very excited going and collecting my box from...
Good luck with the belt building and hope it turns out well.
As an aside, I noticed a bit ago leather jedi belts for sale in the UK pretty cheap (£25), here:...
Erm..... ...well, the video at the start of the thread was very entertaining and nicely done, anyway... ;)
