I've built a few sabers with no problems, until now ! I've built a Luke
ROTJ bottom half master replicas, top half custom build, thin neck.
I tested with a three aaa battery pack, Luke board, 3w green led,
No problems. I then changed the power to a 4.8 four AA nmh pack
And after a few minutes the led flickers. When I put the lower power
Pack in its fine. Is it a led heatsink problem ?
I'll try and upload pics of my sabers when I work out
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/74...Pack-P699.aspx I was looking through the forums and found that when using the PC sound card the voltage has to be btwn 5.5 and 11v, thats the way I saw it. I'm not sure if I have it all right. also I don't know what wire i need to connect the Seoul P4, switch and charge port all to the battery pack. another thing im gonna be using the constant current driver (i have the 1500 in my wishlist but which would be best for a nice rich
If I wired the switch LED+ to the recharge port whould that work as well? Would just need a higher ohm resistor about 220?
Hey I've been all over TCSS since the beginning of the year but never really looking at forums cuz I didnt realize how complex it is. Well it feels complex to me. Im gonna get the constant current LED driver. I just dont know what output to use and I want it to be the richest blue I can get with the seoul P4.
So, I'm hoping I can get some help here, but since no one has seen my first blog post (or at least commented on it) I may have to post this into the Forums...
Anyway I am including a link to the Mace Windu board I am using in this saber. It has a tactile switch spot on the board and I can't figure out how to wire this switch to a momentary switch.
Anyone have any suggestions?
