You keep saying what is wrong with the store, that the dimensions aren't there 90% of the time etc.

But do your realize that TCSS is a One-store (I'd venture to say) Family run buisness?!?! It isn't a store tht has a few hundred techies that edit the webpage all day...

Besides, I would rather have Mr. Tim spending time on his new soundboard he is working on or coming up with a new BH...
Not typing the dimensions of a speaker we all know will fit in the sabers we use...
Got a Question? There's a thread for that...

hmm....streamline a one time sale or turn a potential client into a builder who in turn will create more sales. I would say the latter...

From what I can tell this site is geared more towards builders then people who want one custom. If you want one custom, you commission someone on another site or have the patience to find the required info to build one yourself. I began as one and now that I've taken the time, I'm interested in continuing on new builds so as opposed to streamlining a one time sale, I myself am becoming a sales person to sell the sabers I build using these parts and info.

The info posted here is mostly by volunteers so that what I believe to be virtually a one man show can focus on keeping stock, producing custom orders and adding new inventory. This site is very appreciated by a community of builders/sabersmiths.

This beating of a dead horse is getting to be more annoying then any lazy noob wanting to be spoon fed.
Edit..to be honest I tried to read more then a few posts to try and be fair, but it just drags on. Too much arguement, I don't have time for.

I think you are missing the point. We are not trying to "keep the headcount down." We are simply pointing out that our MAIN focus is aiding those who wish to stay around and contribute to the community. That does not mean that is our ONLY focus. Trust me, lots of "n00bs" drop their money at the door and leave without ever signing up here...

Most of the people that build sabers and post here have full time day jobs and build sabers part time and don't have time to spoon feed every n00b who don't want to read and do the research like the rest of us have.

Dude, the amount of mA output of a resistor depends on the voltage given to resistor.

For example, let's take P4 and 6V and 3.7V batteries to the test.

    Correct resistor for a white P4 with a 6V battery: 3.3 Ohm 5 W
    Correct resistor for a white P4 with a 3.7V battery: 1 Ohm 1 W

I think we all get the point so there is no need to argue about it further. There is a lot of things that could be added or updated to make the store more user friendly and I try to add dimensions and update descriptions whenever someone asks a question because the info was not there.

Tyhm, Please send me a E-mail listing the items that you think need descriptions and dimensions added.

LM, please link to LDM's tutorial in the start here section someplace.

No more threads on the subject please..
