K3GR1-Aqua by LDM

Many have heard rumors of this project for months now, and these were released upon the community today. They are the K3GR1's (a limited JSSDC run of sabers used for the second JSSDC sabersmith challenge and were machined by Acerocket.) Here is my entry in all her glory, "The K3GR1 Aqua"

I wanted to seriously blinkify this one and since my electronics skills have progressed light years since the G-Flex Challenge, I decided to see how many cool light-up doo dads I could incorporate into the coolest hilt ever. The LED display was used in one previous saber to the best of my knowledge (MC's Rantux..I think) and I always wanted to do one, but most (could also read that as "all") of my CF sabers have been for clients, I have never gotten around to it. It accounts for 8 LEDs worth of connections. I also wanted to frame it in the hilt so I built a random bargraph around it (4 more LEDs) with Aqua and Violet 5mm LEDs. I finished it off with the Aqua Crystal Pommel and the purple Antivandal switch LED for a total of 14 accent LEDs (my most to date).

ive been waiting for a saber like this from LDM for a long time now.

wow LDM this is by far your greatest saber. i love the Number read out could you post more details on how you wired that up? i think i want one on my Area51 saber. the saber is just amazing LDM. its just.... wow. i hope you win. i really do. bin1 and bin 3 are my favorite colors now. i am in awe.

It's purdy, and very blinky.

Not the first CF saber I've gotten to play with, but defintely the prettiest.

Crazy Marc, great work on that puppy. It came out awesome. Loving the custom stand too. The last vid confirms what I have thought of you all this time, a CRAZY SABER SMITH.

Holy crap dude I am absolutely amazed by this saber. I am just starting out, I haven't even built a saber with sound yet, but I can already tell how much work and planning goes into a build like that. Of that saber doesn't win the contest demand a recount.
