Default 3w LED driver aka Corbins board

Here is Corbins schematic on how to hook up the LED driver with a single momentary switch.

Here is one I made up on how to use a push on/push off switch.
You will loose the power ramp down function this way. It will just turn off and not slowly dim out like normal.

This will only work on certain models of corbins driver.

    Default Corbin's driver

    Hi Strydur.
I know this is probably an old thread, but I just thought I'd chime in and mention that the second schematic you have won't work anymore. The drivers now either come in a latching or a momentary On/Off setup and the "default power setting" is set to off.
That means that when you first give power to the driver, it doesn't automatically come on. You'd still have to activate the on/off switch. Before, when the power setting was set to on, when the batteries got low, the saber would flash on and off and you couldn't shut it off without removing the batteries. With it set to off, now you can have an "arming" switch that would be where you show the switch on the second schematic. You'd still have to turn the saber on, but the switch could act as a "safety"

EDIT: I'm keeping this post up since it pertains to the diagram but the rest of the discussion should go into another topic. Thanks, xwing.
