Thread: Just double checking my wiring

Default Just double checking my wiring

So Im building my first saber and I was hoping someone could double check my wiring diagram. (excuse my crappy photoshop skills) now Im pretty confident in soldering due to the fact I worked on airsoft guns at a shop as the "tech" so I had to work with small wiring all day anyway. But I was just wanting to double check I had done my homework right in this wiring system. Im opting out for sound since first saber and to budget a little better.

my goal is to use a momentary switch with the buckpuck which is why I added the switch converter.

I'm not familiar with the buckpuck, or I'd help you. I see your post, but I'll wait for other "stunt" installers to weigh in. This looks more complex than wiring a CF9! There will be someone along that can give you advice.

It looks like you've got the recharge port polarity backwards. Typically the red (+) wires go to the shared terminal, and the black (-) wires are on the two switched terminals.

The logic for the rest of your diagram looks fine, assuming you connect everything to the momentary switch converter properly.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
