Well I guess this fits here too.
My MHS Luke.
Specs can be found here.
Powder coated finish.
"J-Plugs" used for easy alterations and repairs.
Key is needed for oporation.
(This "Key" will be replaced with something better as soon as I come up with it...)
10/32 Set screw to hold the blade in.
Charged using the same port as the Key.
I got these pics from Yoda (aka Meridian) of fx-sabers.com.
He did a fantastic Luke V2 here. Lots of details that may help anyone that wants to make one themselves. I believe the most notable things are:
-IT'S ALL MHS BASED!
-The little flange on the sinktube that I usually throw away... He made great use of it on the top there to actually make it more accurate.
-The toggle switch hidden between the clamp. It get locked into place by the clamp.
-He used a sinktube adapter and sinktube to get the bottom closer in look and size. Ingenius again.
Finally... the pics. They are large and detailed so here are the links:

My Parks Obi TPM. Dang spiffy! It smaller than you'd imagine. All Stainless steel, aluminum and I'm guessing delrin or PVC for the black. It has a decent heft to it.
Eventually I'll lux it up. I didn't take a shot of the EL blade... it sucks. It's dim. Also on Parks' newer blades, he got rid of the orange cap for a shouldered tip, but now has a printed warning not to duel right on the friggin' EL sheet!

I made these to go with a costume a few years ago.
These are all hardware sabers and the LED set up is a direct drive (resistor) Star O BIN 1 Blue with my own custom made blade.

From sidious like to an actual sidious.
Here's the first Luxeon Sidious that I know of, built by me. ;D
It's a Luxeon III powered by a single CR123. It's a very small hilt inside, maybe four inches of workable space. Whoever built them obviously intended for it to be a EL saber. The blade goes in too deep to pull off much more with a luxeon. Sound won't happen but I could see a driver being in there.
The thin walled 3/4" won't make it a dueler but it's fantastically balanced.
Overall it was a simple thing to do, easily done in a day. If you could get one of the ones I've seen floating around on eBay one could lux it up rather cheap. I just used the custom heatsink and put it in a 1" ID 1 1/8" OD aluminum tube. Obviously the saber was poured around a 1 1/8" tube because it was super snug and made mounting a breeze.

here is my graflex ANH reworked... I wanted to upgrade it with crystal focus v2.5 and... I wanted a crystal chamber (logical with "crystal focus" electronics). And I wanted the inside to look like a "real" lightsaber. Not an exact copy of the SW visual dictionnary, I had to keep thing functionnal, but I think it ended well. Blue lux III overdriven at 1.5 A, rumbling motor, transformer copper wires for a more "organic" look. PVC and plasticard for the craddle. The force crystal was recut to fit, finished with various grits of sandpaper, and polished with car paint polish to get the transparency back. The crystal is lit with a blue 5mm LED wired as a "progressive power on indicator" on the crystal focus and follow all the variation of the luxeon, including energy flickering, clash shimmering etc. I've also included the aux. button on the bottom of the hilt, thru a speaker hole.
A detailed view of the insided (with a few "invented terms")

My take on an Imperial Knight style.
It's the 1-1/4" sink tube blade holder inside (obviously) a 1-1/4" sink tube. #18 o-rings over that except for the neck area which uses #17 o-rings to taper it a bit. Then a 1-1/2" sink tube cutout and shroud over that. It's a little big for my hands, but so are all the MR's. Right now it has a Atlas Daylight white LED with a 1000mah buckpuck driver ran off of 6AA for 9v. Length is just under 14".
