Make your own star?

Darn fine idea but I am lazy so I just get the K2s in star form already.

I had an awesome time last night with my brothers and sister and I have got to say that all of these babies are bright when ya got them wired up right and have fresh batteries. We had all of my current stuff going for a full blown light show and I am going to have to recommend the 3w as well for three major reasons.
<ul>[*] 1 It is the standard so if you have problems most everyone here can give you a hand since they have REAL experience.[*] 2 Royal Blue is a KICK ARSE color and to find that in a K2 star can be tricky.[*] 3 Tim has them at a great price right here in the store.[/list]

I absolutely agree.
3w are great. K2's are definitely more advanced (having just done one). One step at a time - I started with 1 watters!
Royal blue is my favorite colour, but I think the regular blue looks slightly brighter.
