Etching design transfer
I have a design i want to salt water etch into my saber. I printed my design on some clear sticker paper so i can cut/transfer the design or vise versa.
I cannot decide when to cut the design out, before transferring or when the design is on the saber. What are your opinions on this based on your experiences?

very celtic..... nice..... i would recommend using something like a circut- might make it easier.... i have not done this exact thing- but am planning to eventually (in like a week) and i will be using the Cricut to do this- it cuts the vinyl before applying to the saber....

I agree, if you have access to a Cricut or Silhouette, use it. If not, I would still cut the pattern off the saber. It will be easier on a flat surface. Use vinyl transfer paper to keep the pattern intact when applying it to your saber. You might want to mark some witness lines on the outside of the transfer paper to keep your pattern aligned.

Unfortunately no access to a vinyl plotter or cutter thanks for the replies
