2 Questions: Kill Key doesn't fit and battery fit

I have two quick questions:

I have this kill plug with the Switchcraft recharge port:

Unfortunately, the plug is so loose within the port that it literally falls out with even the tiniest movement. Is there a trick/tweak/mod I can do to get the plug to stay in and/or be a bit more snug?

I also have a 18650 battery with acrylic disks for the chassis. The battery is pretty snug, but am curious if anyone does anything else to secure them within the disks to ensure it doesn't move when swinging/dueling?

That's a bit unusual. They're usually a snug fit. You could try putting a wrap or two of clear cello tape around the plug. It'll add a bit of thickness and hopefully keep it from falling out.
