Thread: tri-rebel in series which buckpuck?

Default tri-rebel in series which buckpuck?

Can I drive the tri-rebel r-r-r in series with a buckpuck and one of the li-ion 7.4v battery packs, and if so, which size buckpuck will be best for this?

Assuming the spec on the Triple Red is the same as the single, with a 2.4vf for each die, yes. Rebel Reds are recommended to be run at 700ma by the manufacturer, so I'd go with the 700ma puck.

Just wanted to make sure how the puck works. It maintains current even if its more than one LED in series then. Thanks.

Yes. Oversimplification: Wiring in series divides the voltage and uses the same current. Wiring in parallel divides the current and uses the same voltage.
