Default AV switch with 8 prongs...

So I'm wiring up my first saber and my red ring AV momentary switch has 8 prongs on it. I'm assuming the + and - terminals are the LED. The others are labeled NC1, NO1, and C1. Can I just pick any pair and use them, or should I use a specific one?

    Thanks!

You are correct on the LED terminals.

For your switch, connect one wire to C1, and the other wire to NO1. That'll give you a "Normally Open" style switch, and is the most common way to wire it up.

Are you using a sound board in that saber? I only ask because you have a momentary switch.

I will be picking up a sound card in around a month, but since this is my first time soldering, I'm just wiring this up "dead-man switch" style for the practice. I'll be using JST connectors so it won't be too hard to make the change.

Thanks for always answering my questions! You are my hero!
